Terms of use.
Short version: the ledger is free information, read from providers’ own pages. Check the provider’s page before you buy. Paid extras are billed through Kit and you can cancel anytime.
The information
- Prices, MAU/MRU and SSO fees come from each vendor’s public pricing page, with the source and check date on every row (methodology). Vendors change prices without notice, so data can be wrong or out of date. Always confirm on the vendor’s page before buying.
- Nothing here is financial, legal or procurement advice. The site is provided “as is”, without warranties.
- AuthCost is not affiliated with any vendor. Trademarks belong to their owners. There are no affiliate links today; if we add any they will be labeled and will not affect ranking.
Using the data
The ledger data (JSON/CSV on /data) is licensed CC BY 4.0: reuse it freely with attribution to “AuthCost” and a link to https://authcost.pages.dev/. Please don’t scrape the site at a rate that degrades it; use the files instead.
Pro
- Pro costs $9/month or $90/year and is sold through Kit’s hosted checkout; payments are processed by Stripe via Kit. Prices are in USD; taxes may apply.
- Pro is sold at a founding price. You get what the Pro page describes; anything not live yet is delivered when it ships, and nothing is promised before then.
- Cancel anytime from your Kit receipt or by emailing us; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. For refund requests, email basileion.ops@gmail.com; we also honor any refund rights your local consumer law gives you.
Sponsor slots
- A founding newsletter slot is $49 per placement, sold through Kit. Sponsors are always labeled “Sponsor” and never affect data or ranking. We accept auth, identity and security-adjacent sponsors only; if we can’t run a placement you paid for, we refund it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the site or a paid product is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.
